Last night's 30 Rock season finale featured a We Are The World type music video called He Needs A Kidney - as in Alan Alda, playing Alec Baldwin's dad Milton on the show - needs a kidney.
NBC says the music video featuring a video message from Tina Fey is now available on itunes.com for $.99. NBC, Universal Media Studios and Apple will donate 100% of the proceeds to the National Kidney Foundation.
Artists on the video include: Sheryl Crow, Adam Levine, Mary J Blige, Elvis Costello, Clay Aiken, Norah Jones, Rhett Miller, Steve Earle, Rachael Yamagata, Moby, Michael McDonald, Wyclef Jean, Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, Robert Randolph, Ad-Rock, Mike D and Talib Kweli. 30 Rock music supervisor, Jeff Richmond, wrote and composed the song.
